Whether it’s a relaxing break with your better half, a family vacation, business trip or a weekend away with friends, when you stay at Bellinter House there are an abundance of activities for you to explore.
The grounds at Bellinter House are extensive and have sweeping lawns, ancient trees and a number of secluded spots to relax and laze. There is a labyrinth of local footpaths and trails to explore and wellingtons are available for guests to borrow. We have listed below some additional activities that maybe of interest to you.
The Bathhouse Spa
No trip to Bellinter House is complete without a visit to the Bathhouse Spa. Follow our link to find out more about our onsite facilities and special offers.
The River Boyne runs right along the grounds of Bellinter House and has a good run of salmon and sea trout especially between the start of Summer and early Autumn.
The majority of game angling is controlled by Angling Associations and therefore permits are required. Fishing is only permitted from May - September each year. For more details please contact our team directly on 046-9030900 or visit their website.
The County of Meath offers many exceptional golf courses for a golfing enthusiast to explore. The below courses are all located less than one hour away and have all featured under the top 100 Irish Golf Courses (Golf Digest 2017).

There are also many equestrian centres throughout County Meath where you can visit during your stay including Royal Meath Equestrian Centre, Brookfield Stables, Pelletstown Riding Centre, Collistown Equestrian Centre, Broadmeadow Equestrian Centre and Kells Equestrian Centre to name a few.
Painting, Mindfulness, Pilates and Yoga Workshops
Group activities can be organised for our guests on a request basis, including painting courses (one to one and groups), Mindfulness sessions, Pilates and Yoga Classes. To arrange this, please contact reservations in advance of your arrival. Minimum numbers are required for some of these activities.

Hot Air Balloon
Make a magical dream come true and take a hot air balloon ride from our grounds at Bellinter House. This can be organised with a local company, however please be aware this activity is very much weather dependent.
