Visit Newgrange farm
Located beside the famous tourist site is Ireland's leading open visitors farm where everyone can see-hold-feed animals & poultry, play areas provided. Superb facilities & play areas. Wonderful day out for the family.

Visit Grove gardens
Grove Gardens consists of four acres of gardens outside Kells, County Meath and features the clematis walk containing over 300 species of small and large flowered hybrids and herbaceous climatic. The rose garden has over 400 plants of French, English and modern roses. The tropical bird garden and mini zoo is a recent addition to Grove Gardens. A large variety of exotic and rare breeds of birds are housed in purpose built aviaries designed to become part of the gardens and create a unique setting for such a facility. Facilities include tearooms, picnic areas, shop and garden centre.

 

Horseriding
There are a number of stables in the area for the novice, the intermediary and experienced rider. Meath is famous for the wonderful horses it produces. Lessons and trekking for all ages and standards are readily available in the equestrian centres in the vicinity of Bellinter House.

 

Visit Causey Farm
Causey Farm is a family-run, fun based venue for a variety of entertainment, tourism and educational programs. Expect Enchanted Fairy Workshops, Wand-making, Crown-making, Make your own pet Troll. Decorating the Traditional May Bush, Giant Bubbles in the Elves Bubble Barn, Treasure Hunt and Den Making.
Plus, Tingo Bingo, Pixie Disco, Tell Your Secrets to the Fairy Queen in Her Carriage.

 Bellinter House is situated on 12 acres of parkland,with wellies available for guests to borrow. There is no excuse to stop you getting out and taking a stroll around the grounds.Alternatively, there are a number of walks in the vicinity of the House.

 

Dalgan House 7 Miles
Nature reserve with tributary to the Boyne. Go out of the gates of Bellinter and turn left, drive through the first crossroads until you reach Tara Na Ri pub on your left. Turn left onto the N3, go to the top of the hill, approxmiately ½ a mile, until you see the sign “Dalgan House”. Drive through the white gates on your left.

Bective Abbey:
Go out through the gates of Bellinter and take a right. Continue on to the crossroads and turn right again. Drive over the bridge and you’ll see Bective Abbey on your right.

Trim Castle:
Go out through the gates of Bellinter and take a right. Continue on to the crossroads and turn right again. At the next crossroads, take a left and drive all the way to Trim. Follow the signs and you’ll arrive at Trim castle, where you can enjoy walks around the medieval castle.

Hill of Tara:
Go out the gates of Bellinter and turn left. Drive for one mile and take a right at the next cross roads. Take a left at the golf course and follow the signs towards Tara. It’s a spiritual place with a great café that serves amazing soup and there is also a good gift and bookshop.
