Civil and Small Weddings

Choose to host your civil ceremony at Bellinter House, where you and your guests can relax in comfort and enjoy the day in luxurious surrounds. We can cater for up to 80 guests for a civil ceremony in our East Pavilion one room


There is also a requirement to give 3 months notification to a Registrar. If you want to get married in a venue other than the Registry Office you should contact the Registry Office for the district in which the venue is located in to arrange to have it approved. Venues such as marquees, private dwellings or the open air are not acceptable. To ensure the venue is approved in time for your wedding you should arrange for the approval well in advance of notifying the Registrar.

 

You should serve notice on the Registrar of Civil Marriages for the district where you intend getting married. You can contact the General Register Office for the name and address of the relevant Registrar/s.

Our Bespoke small and beautiful wedding option is for a minimum of 50 guests and is available Sundays to Wednesdays inclusive for selected available dates in 2009 and 2010. This still offers you exclusive use of the entire house, but for a reduced cost.

Alternatively you can look at hiring a ceremony officiant to perform a ceremony for you, this ceremony is not legally binding, however Romy McAuley a ceremony officiant will help you officiate your wedding, celebrate your re-affirmation or commitment ceremony by creating an eloquent, meaningful and unforgettable ceremony it will be exactly as you want it, for more information contact Romy from a beautiful ceremony on romy@abeautifulceremony.ie or 087-6622306
